3 of the best cheese bee hoon in Melaka! Restoran Tong Sheng, Restauran Zhong Tai and Restauran Aunty Fatso

Today we'd be sharing on our experience at these 3 restaurants.

These are some of the best chinese restaurants in Melaka = )

All 3 serve crabs and cheese prawn bee hoon if you are looking for it!

Restoran Tong Sheng: Get Ready For A Long Queue!

We were recommended by our cousin on this Restoran Tong Sheng.

If you stay in Hatten Hotel or Hotel Equatorial or Rosa Hotel or any Melaka raya hotel, this place is walking distance.

There is parking readily available on the side if you stay far away

What to try

1. Cheese beehoon (as seen it this picture below)
2. They have cheese steamboat! But we didn’t try. Some families were eating it.

We didn’t really fancy the salted egg crab (as shown on article featured image).

Not open for lunch.

Queues start to build up by 6pm.

Please note that they are closed on monday.

Service and comfort: 3/5 (We had to wait quite a bit)

Restoran Zhong Tai: Much less queue! 

Surprisingly, we didn't take a picture from our visits.

It's been our go to place, whenever there's rain (because we often choose to stay in Hatten Hotel) and it's really like 300m away.

The best part is taste of the cheese bee hoon is comparable to Tong Sheng yet there's hardly a queue.

Restoran Aunty Fatso: Massive Queues also!

Aunty Fatso Restaurant is now amongst our top recommendations for dinner!

However, you will need a car to get here as many good hotels are NOT near this Jalan KLJ area.

If you are staying at Casa Del Rio Hotel or Atlantis residences or any Hotels near Jonker street then yes, might as well come here than Restaurant Tong Sheng or Restauran Zhong Tai.

And come by 5.30pm if you want to be ahead of the queue or make a reservation.

Many also ordered their crabs (which isn't cheap imo) but maybe it's tasty hmm..

Conclusion

For Aunty Fatso, there's air con seating if you reserve I think but the other 2 don't have aircon area. Overall cleaniness is ok for all 3 so it's pretty family freely

Just pick one will do for a dinner and must eat the cheese bee hoon. Good luck! =)
