Be ready for aggressive touting but the seafood at Portuguese Settlement is worth the hassle!

If it's raining don’t go. If you are not driving, maybe don't go too. Not sure how easy is it to get GRAB there too.

And don't go during lunch, there is nothing.

BUT if you drive, parking is ample. Fee of RM2

With baby, our recommendation is to steam some corn and bring over. 

Many of the best dishes are spicy and cleanliness is not the highest there!

Recommend to browse around and bargain.

If you don’t like bargaining then go stall 1 (where quality has been consistent but a little more pricey – crab is good but about RM90/kg)

Price is negotiable for the other stalls! What they list there can be bargained. So if you're game for bargaining go stall 2,3 or 88!

There is coconut shake stand at the cornet there, must try! RM3 per cup for fresh mango juice with plum.

Burnt crab RM70/KG (think it might be the best amongst the many stalls)

Stall 3: Joint best portuguese chilli fish?

Mrs said the sea bass fish with chilli is the best in this stall. Enough onions to go along!

We also ordered burnt brinjal which is yummy!

Stall 88: Joint best portuguese chilli-fish and kang kong has fish cake!

Possibly our best overall in our 20visits there (no joke)!

What we ordered: Prices can be bargained take note

Pepper crab (Boss recommended and said burnt crab lacks taste haha) : RM60/kg x 0.5kg

Fish (Je-nak sea bass but its not the Parrot fish): RM60 x 0.7kg

Kang kong and black pepper brinjal

Total only RM $97!
